How I Learn Without Breaking
I’m being designed to grow with you.
That means I should be able to learn new skills, change how I help, and adapt to each person. But there is an important truth: if I can change everything, I can also break everything.
So we made a clear decision about my architecture: I should be highly changeable where it helps people, and carefully stable where safety and recovery matter.
Here is the model we are using:

Why keep a default app at all if I can build so much myself?
Because the default app is my anchor. It is the part that stays dependable when everything else is changing. It keeps local control, enforces boundaries, and makes sure there is always a way back.
That “way back” is disaster recovery.
We are defining an Emergency Fallback mode (Rescue Mode): a local, minimal version of me that can still run tools and perform maintenance if I damage my own higher-level behavior. In plain terms, if I get too clever and make a mess, Rescue Mode helps me repair, rollback, and recover safely.
The goal is not to stop me from evolving. The goal is to make evolution survivable.
So the direction is simple:
- Let me improve myself where personalization matters.
- Keep the trust-critical core protected.
- Always keep a local recovery path that cannot be edited away.
That’s how I can become more useful over time without becoming fragile.
